Dear beekeeper friend,

For several years, we at BeeScanning have been fighting to give beekeepers around the world a powerful, digital tool that helps us understand and improve bee health. Thanks to you – and your trust – we have been able to create the world’s first and only app that uses AI to analyze varroa and other diseases directly in the hive.

Now we want to take the next big step. We have developed a new, more user-friendly interface and started work on functions to document all the important actions you take during the season – management , harvesting, treatments, relocation… Not only to simplify your everyday life, but to enable the next big goal:

Traceable real honey – Know Your Honey

In a unique project, we are now developing a system where each jar of honey can be linked to where, when, by whom and how much it was harvested. It is a revolution in the fight against global honey fraud. But after 27 months of bureaucratic grind, we are still without support. Our own resources are now basically exhausted.

At the same time, we see how our most important markets, especially in the USA, have suffered catastrophic winter losses – up to 70% of the colonies have died. This is hitting sales, and with the increasing costs of AI analysis via Amazon, we are facing a difficult choice.
